Richard "Rick" Shambaugh passed peacefully on October 28, 2014 with a close friend at his side. He was a 1977 graduate of Central York High School where he was a standout on the football team. Rick was a 1981 graduate of Albright College in Reading, PA and a member of the ZOE fraternity. He moved to Los Angeles soon after college and worked there for many years, first with the Bernstein Company, and later with Chiat/Day as a film editor where he spent the bulk of his career. He and his team were responsible for the Energizer Bunny commercials as well as a good portion of work for Gatorade and Nissan. He is survived by his mother and father, Dolores and William Shambaugh; his sister, Sheryl; and his brother, Thomas. Rick will be deeply and seriously missed by his family and many friends that he has made and cared about during the ever-so-short period of time he had.
